OUR BRAND
One of the most pressing problems that Latin American countries face is the lack of development opportunities, especially for social minorities. We believe that everyone, no matter their nationality, race, gender or any other distinction, must have a dignified life and equal access to human development, without affecting their cultural identity.
This is why we have created Visit for Good, a sustainable touristic organization for local development. We connect people from all over the world with communities in Latin America by providing cultural exchange opportunities. This gives the possibility for tourists to contribute to the community’s development by booking activities, where 65% of the profits will fund social projects.

OUR STORY
Visit for Good was born in August 2019 at the University of Cambridge during the first Shaping Horizons summit. The team was brought together by the Shaping Horizons programme to work on the challenges of Diversity and Minorities. Dr Liisa van Vliet, an entrepreneur and mentor on Entrepreneurship programmes at the Cambridge Judge Business School, was our mentor.
Together, we approached the challenge of diversity by think about solutions to social problems in Latin America and the United Kingdom. As a result of this competition, we have been working with Liisa Van Vliet, professor at the University of Cambridge, Shaping Horizons mentor and CEO of her company.
We were initially inspired by the walking tour work carried out by Invisible Manchester in which homeless people had the opportunity to rejoin society. Thus, we decided to start Visit for Good as a social enterprise that works with vulnerable communities and that through tourism can offer a better quality of life to the members of these communities.
